Our Leadership

Pastor Adam has a passion for the exaltation of the Lord Jesus Christ and the proclaiming of His Word. He loves to see people become fully devoted followers of Christ as they serve in the church locally and abroad. In 1985 a young lady named Debbie started coming to a college and career ministry that Adam was leading. In April of that year, God regenerated Debbie’s heart, little did either of them know when Adam baptized Debbie that they would develop a friendship that would grow into love and on May 10th, 1986, they were married! Adam and Debbie have been blessed with 3 sons: Luke (married to Maria); Ryan (married to Julie) and Jacob who is in his second year of college at AUM. They also have 4 beautiful grandchildren: Paisley, Bailey, Riley, RJ and Nova.

Adam’s Testimony:

“I grew up in a dysfunctional family. My parents were divorced when I was just 11, and my brother Troy and I were left most every night alone as our mom worked evenings to keep a roof over our heads. Throughout my teen years my life spiraled downward and completely out of control. I was enslaved to drugs and alcohol with a continual lust for the world. On my 18th birthday, 4 months after graduation, my plan was to party it up and celebrate in every form of debauchery I knew. God had a radically different plan, and on that evening, I was born again.

As a new creation, I no longer had a passion for the former things that consumed my life. God had placed a new desire in my heart to tell others about Christ. God gave me a passion for the Word of God and I could not get enough of it. I was immersed into discipleship, mentored, and taught to memorize chapters of the Bible. God consumed every part of my life. I served wherever and however I could in my church. It was only a matter of months before the call of God was heavy on my heart to enter full-time ministry, and that call only made official what God was already doing in me. I entered Liberty University in 1984 and was later called home with a need to fill a full-time youth ministry position at my local church, and since that time God has graciously allowed me to minister in various ministries and be a part of four church plants.”
